| APRIL 30th, 2017 PJ CHURCH OF CHRIST BULLETIN
This morning, our minister will bring forth the Word on “My God, My God Why Hast Thou Forsaken Me?” (Psalms 22:1-5) from the pulpit. Please continue to bring your friends and loved ones to attend all of our church services.
SUNDAY ADULTS BIBLE CLASS:
Brother Chong Fatt will continue to teach the Adults Bible Class on Ecclesiastes 8 in the church auditorium this morning. Food For Thought: “Chapter 8 deals with the problem of justice and injustice. While one man has power over another for harm (8:9), no one has power over the day of death (8:8). Everything has its proper time (8:6) but the sentence against evil deeds does not come speedily (8:11). In 8:12-13, Ecclesiastes appears to be reciting a traditional belief “yet I know that it will be well with those who fear God….” Bring your children and loved ones punctually for all our Bible classes geared for all ages.

OUR DEEPEST CONDOLENCES:
Brother Victor Thasiah wrote from Fresno, California about the passing of his wife Billie this past Sunday: “The appointed time came for Billie today. Quietly at 3.30 p.m. (Sat April 22) with a serene look on her face, Billie left for HOME leaving behind her earthen vessel. We just celebrated our 33 good years together at the Rehab Hospital on the 19th. Blessed are those who die in the Lord.” We express our deepest condolences to the Thasiah Family and pray that our God of all comforts be with them at this time of grief.
“Men who fear God face life fearlessly. Men who do not fear God end up fearing everything.” (Richard Halverson).
