MAY 7th, 2017 PJ CHURCH OF CHRIST BULLETIN

SERMON:
This morning, brother Chong Fatt will bring forth the Word on “The Eyes Of Faith” (Mark 8:15-21) from the pulpit at our Combined Worship with our Mandarin-speaking brethren with brother Wai Keong as translator. Please stay back for our Agape Feast Luncheon immediately after our services this afternoon. Continue to invite and bring your friends and loved ones for the “Mothers’ Day Celebrations” next Sunday.

SUNDAY ADULTS BIBLE CLASS:
Brother Chong Fatt will continue to teach the Adults Bible Class on Ecclesiastes 8 in our church auditorium this morning. Food For Thought: “The Bible never condemns our attempts at understanding life. Rather, the pursuit of knowledge is everywhere encouraged in Scripture. We must never adopt the attitude of anti-intellectualism that characterizes some segment of Christianity. The mind does matter. We are to reason and think about what God is doing and what life gives us. But we must always remember, as the argument makes clear here, that no matter how much we try to understand life, mysteries will still remain. We do not have enough data, nor do we have the ability to see life in its totality, to answer all the questions. We must be content with some degree of mystery.” Bring your children and loved ones punctually for all our Bible classes geared for all ages.
