|FEBRUARY 11TH, 2018 PJ CHURCH OF CHRIST BULLETIN
Brother Chong Fatt will bring us a message this morning on “Happy Valentine Day” (1 John 4:7-21) from the pulpit. Please continue to bring your colleagues, loved ones and friends to worship with us each Sunday.
SUNDAY ADULT BIBLE CLASS:
Our minister will continue the exciting series on “A Study of the Nature and Work of the Holy Spirit” (6) in the Adults Bible Class this morning. Food For Thought: “How do I know that my own spirit dwells in me? I know because I have the signs of life. How do we know that the Holy Spirit dwells in us? First, we know through faith in God, for He promised the Spirit to those who are baptised into Christ (Acts 2:38; t5:32; 1 Cor. 6:18-20; Rom. 8:9). God fulfils His promises when we meet His conditions. Second, the presence of the Spirit in my life is revealed by my actions. How do we know whether a person’s spirit dwells in him? By his actions; by his manifestation of the signs of life. If his spirit does not dwell in his body, the body is dead (James 2:26). The presence of the Spirit in our lives is revealed by our conduct (Galatians 5:22-23).” Come join us in our weekly exciting Bible studies!
